I have 2 Stoner steel 20 rounders, 3 Cooper Inc. 30 rounders and the 9 round Colt mag that came with the gun all have worked perfectly! I haven't used any plastic Mags probably never will!! Sure they might weigh more but who cares about a couple oz's!! Keep them cleaned, lubed and they work just fine!

Don't think it is a good idea to lube a magazine...

Always heard that the oil attracts dirt and gunks up causing malfunctions.
"Probably" why USGI mags are coated aluminum with SS springs. back at you...

IF a person has to deviate from the USGI and Magpul mags, then I guess they probably have to do what they have to do to make things work.

    But maybe it's just me...

So you never clean your mags? I had that duty once over in the sand box! Had to clean about 500 mags before they were packed up for shipment!

I clean them, when they need it, like hearing grittiness, seeing dirt, suspect cause of a malfunction, etc. but I never lube them.

So are you using the plastic mags? Cause you'd would think in hot humid LA metal mags would rust big time! We had big time rust in Korea! Always tearing them down and lubing !
