Yea it was at the westland mall and i saw nothing of the sort of a Colt AR...i think i say half a million RRA uppers and dpms. You must have gotten the only one there

Well I saw a "non regurgitated" Colt 6721 for sale probably at that show (Westland Mall) for $1200. I fondled it of course and probably should not have walked out of there without it.

Why do you continue to go if it costs money to attend (at least around here it does) and they are full of garbage? If it was free I'd understand, but I'd rather not even spend a single dollar on browsing through crap.

I get in free with my LE ID. I wouldn't go if I had to pay, with gas going up I doubt that I will attend very many this year.

You get in with a LE id?! Do you think i could get in with my Military ID?

I go to gun shows to run into friends of mine who may lead me to beer and conversation. When I want quality equipment and accessories I find out where to get them at a good price and then order them. Gun shows are not the best place to buy stuff I have found.

We have a problem with sellers building Del-Ton rifles on S&W, DD, LMT lowers then trying to pass them off as the real deal. Only someone who knows what to look for can pick up on the scam. LOTS wrong with this practice.

The ones in my area do. Check the promoters website to be sure.

I usually go to the Berea or Medina shows with my pops. The only reason is to either sell something or find components for reloading. What's funny is there is always this man and woman there selling RRA,DPMS, and airsoft parts passed off as real gun parts, and the table is always packed with people. It would make sense to me if their prices were at least reasonable.

Fortunately at the same shows I've seen a lot of new Colt 1911's and a few 6920's and even a SCAR 17(2400$) recently, and a real HK94 (3450$).

I usually prefer the Medina show because its all in one big building. But both of them are packed with good ol boys who haven't showered since their belly done lopped over their belt.

Crappy prices aside, you'll get your ass shot at the gun show I used to frequent:

Gun shows are obsolete and are like a live-action version of Glock Talk.

There have been several NDs at a couple the local shows here.

    Great analogy.
