Glad I took the time to read this board and get pointed in the direction of BCM before I made my purchase. I absolutely love my new 14.5" RECCE and I havent even shot it yet, going to zero tomorrow. I think it took 5 days for mine to get here after the guy at the local gun shop ordered it for me. I also ordered some Troy sights in FDE 3 days ago and they arrived today. They are fast.

I noticed that my carrier (ordered carrier only..completes were out of stock) didn't come with the "BCM" engraved on it. Do only the complete BCG's come with that?

I've got a buddy that put a BCM upper on a BM lower for a SD/HD gun. So, save up quickly...

While it's not really a big deal, one of the first "issues" I came across with the BCM Upper/BM Lower pairing is that the upper wont pivot all the way open on the front pin. Its rock solid in terms of fit but for some reason it wont pivot more than a couple of inches. This is my first foray into unmatched (in terms of manufacture) receivers. Is that very unusual?

When you guy's are right you are right.

I've been very impressed with the "drive-ability" of this mid-length system. Satisfied customer.

BCM is the best thing to Wisconsin since CHEESE.
