    No they can install a FSB like you wanted.



    I would not get a clamp on gas block. I have seen many of them end up leaking or coming loose.

    Having an FSB pinned, now that you know that you didn't get the wrong thing? ADCO can pin an FSB for you or a low profile gas block. I've had both done.

    update:

    I sent my barrel to ADCO. They cut the barrel for pins and sent it back. They also bored the inside of my FSB to make it slide easier over my barrel. To my surprise, turn around time was just a few days. Thanks for the tips, all.

    Thank you for posting this thread - and thanks for the replies.

    I have been reading stuff for a while to learn enough for a future build.
    This is the first time I have seen that info about the FSB gas port drilling process.

    I will now go back to reading more and posting less again.
    I also would love to see pics of the end result.
