All my info is from the show and a little bit of common knowledge.
Just little things that were said during the show, like removing the denial part on the side plate told me it was a commercially made semi plate. If they had made the plate themselves or if it had come as one of the parts it would not have had a denial block. It might have been an 80% plate but definitely a semi plate.

Did he receive the weapon after SOG worked on it? If so, how was that legal? I am just curious.

I guess the part that has me puzzled is why some guy comes in to have a parts kit assembled into a functional MG that he may not be able to have unless he is in a certain category.

All that aside, still not too impressed with their assembly of the weapon and lack of following procedures.

If I remember right the shop bought the parts kit so it should be GTG for them to own as a manufacturer.

I watched a few episodes to give it a shot. I find it to be scripted crap.

I'll have to rewatch it, as I must have missed that part.

The old Guy that brought it in said to Will It was on his list ,so I think He has a few folks looking for stuff for him .

I actually Talk to Him years ago on a Ak forum as he was the go to guy for Krinkov builds ,he was a Bit full of himself and i Just didn't have the cash For the Build and sold My Krinkov Kit .Man that was a mistake

But the more i watch the show the More i look at Some of their Builds as jacked Up ,What the hell was they thinking?

The Thompson for the Sheriff Made me me Want to vomit and if you Notice hanging on the walls in the shop area, he is using UTG rails.
and To top it off they Butchered a real 1919

and i reallly like the Staged Guy walks in ask for a short barrel Saiga-12 for a "Hunting trip this weekend " and then was told "this is a NFA weapon and we have to do paperwork and can take months" he smiles and walks out .

Sort of a Look ATF we are doing it right.

A bit full of himself? I don't know how he was back then, but these days he appears to be a full-on douchebag. Or, at least plays one on TV.

    .

My wife TiVo's the shows for me but she won't watch them, she thinks they're stupid. An advantage to TiVo is you can back it up and watch again in slo-mo.

Maybe it's just me ...but I caught a glimpse of them using 3-In-1 oil on a gun. I backed it up and "yep" 3-In-1...
Now of the 5000 lube and oil Threads, I've never read of anyone saying they used 3-In-1 nor have I ever seen it in a Gun Shop or a Gun Store.

Is 3-In-1 out of place (like WD-40) when it comes to guns or is it just me...??
