OP...Hate, absolutely not. Preference on the other hand is a completely different story. M4C is all about the highest quality, balanced with durability and affordability. Most "informed" folks, would buy a higher quality "anything" that is readily available, based upon our specific needs and means, rather than a lower quality sample of the same item.
Live within your means, or save up for it, OR settle, as you have.

What the hell are you talking about? Nobody in this thread, that you started, has said anything negative about Spikes.

OTOH, the answer to your question, whatever it might be, is in several places on this site. You could easily have answered your own question.

This isn't to be disrespectful at all so please don't take it like that, but I find it a little confusing at times that people refer to the chart as how to tell if a AR is top tier quality or bottom tier. Looking at Spikes and the chart they should be considered top tier but they are not considered one by a majority of this forum. Could someone explain what other factors should be considered when trying to determine if an AR is top tier or not.

I can do better than that.

While it isn't our intention on M4C to be needlessly rude, it's hardly the height of good manners to ask a question that's been asked and answered literally dozens of times before and then get bent out of shape about it.

Why not just not reply rather than pile on and get angry at the guy?

I'm going to allow this thread to continue for a bit, though I suspect that you are a troll.

Also, you do not dictate which threads stay open and which ones don't. If you are not going to respond to members when they question your statements then I will lock it and you will be extracted by a black government helicopter.

I don't think there is any validity to your question nor response. In fact this forum has assisted you in bettering your intelligence. You went from a DPMS to thinking about a Doublestar and then a Spikes AR. If anything we have saved you. Now, because of the information compiled by Rob S and many other members giving input and assistance you wish to bite the hand that fed you a good meal? Shame on you, if you want to be a Spikes fanboy go ahead. But be forewarned until I personally see a Spikes in LE/MIL file footage under austere conditions, I will stick with the products that have been there and work as required by those employing them.

No one is angry at the guy. Just some folks are more "tender" that others, especially when a thread like this doesn't turn out to be the "love fest" he hoped for. We don't give out "hugs" here. We don't get in touch with our feminine side. We don't enhance other people's Karma. Most here are blunt, direct, and to the point, and that, in and of it self, can cause butt hurt.

I like spikes products as well as BCM , Colt and a lot of other companies products..
I think we should all come together and support each other as part of the gun community.
we have enough people against our hobby/sport/defense without fighting with each other.
