Reason: nevermind

Currently 3 T-1's in Larue high mounts and 1 M4S in Larue mount. I moved up from Comp M2's and settled on the T-1's for the lack of weight and identical function as the older models. Contemplating switching to the DD or KAC mounts after having an issue with my Larue mounts needing to be re-tightened after X number of rounds, had forward/backward movement which affected shot placement.

I run an Aimpoint H1 on an American Defense AD-T1M mount.
I have an original Bushnell Holosight on a 10/22 and I like the reticle and the open window design, so when it was time to get a RDS for my carbine I looked hard at an Eotech XPS. However, I ended up with the Aimpoint because of the following reasons:
Durability & reliability.
Battery life.
Weight.
I think the dial control on the Aimpoint is easier to adjust quickly for changing conditions than the buttons on the Eotech.
I don't think anything on the above list is a surprise to anyone in this forum.
I strongly considered the Aimpoint C3 but went with the Micro for the light weight and small size. I got the H1 instead of the T1 because I don't think I'll ever need to use it with night vision.

Red dot wise, I run Aimpoint H-1 in ADM Absolute Co-witness mounts. Currently I an using the two piece versions, but if I have to get another I would likely try the one piece version.
As far as why, the H-1 is compact, light weight, and has a long battery life, which except for long battery life, is much better than my previous Aimpoints. As far as why ADM, well at the time they were the only mount really available with absolute co-witness which I prefer.
I also often use an Aimpoint magnifier which I have in the short lived absolute co-witness version of their flip to the side mount. I didn't use the twist mount because then I would have to get a base very every rifle/upper.

Aimpoint T1 in a Larue tall QD mount.
The T1 replaced my XPS as my go to sight for a few reasons. It has a reputation for reliability, possesses a stupid-simple brightness adjustment mechanism, and when I mount it just in front of my rear BUIS, it almost disappears leaving just a floating red dot. For a lightweight, general-purpose RDS, it's really hard to beat. The fact that the battery life is fudiculous is a nice bonus. It sits on my "general purpose" rifle. I got the T1 instead of the H1 because I'm SCUBA diver and I figured I may need to invade some tropical paradise some day.*
I actually wanted a DD mount for it for the weight savings, but I didn't see Grant's deals on the combo until after I'd bought the Larue kit, and the combo prices were a no brainer. I wanted the DD for the minor weight savings and a solid rep--though the screws looked a little suspect. I picked up the Larue due to oft-typed phrase, "If Larue is an answer; then Laure is the answer."
Eotech XPS 2.0 in an Accucam mount.
My two major complaints about the EO are a spotty reputation, and it noticeably slower than say, a T1, when you need to adjust it for changing lighting conditions. To be fair, the XPS 3.0 may be less craptastic than the XPS 2.0 in that regards. As far as the usual commets about power; I'm not too concerned about battery life, but you need a solid supply chain if you're going to run it frequently. A final big, but subjective, disappointment is that I really thought I'd like the reticle of the EO more than I do. I really can't put my finger on what bugs me about it but it just doesn't feel right. I don't hate it... I'm just "meh" about it. Right now, the XPS is sitting on a Sig P556 that will be stamped in the near future. I picked the Accucam because GG&G seems to be the only folks making an XPS specific mount and I haven't seen anything overtly negative about them--though I didn't look too hard.
SigTac Holo Sight
It came with a Sig range toy that I bought. I wouldn't consider using it for any serious use. Make sure you have BUIS if you're gonna try it. Battery life is horrible, and makes an EOTech look EnergyStar. This site is a toy.
SigTac T1 Clone
Looks a lot like a T1, but I would't trust it for real world use. Another toy that came on a range toy. It's also quite power-hungry. I may buy a Larue HK mount to see how a T1|H1 would work with the 556. The only positive thing about this sight is that the battery compartment is on the left, so when I should lefty, it's not as noticeable as the T1's. Since I shoot righty 90% of the time... that not much of a benefit.
*I made that up. I bought the T1 because the price difference wasn't enough for me to give up NV should I decide to drop the coin on a set of NODs.
