Good deal... How can they do such a good deal? A new model coming out? Like all the AFG I's being dumped to stock the AFG II"s...

I doubt theres a new one coming out, its just volume of sale.

I bought my first TLR1 from them for $90 shipped a few years ago.

I just ordered one too. I was tempted to get a second one for my hd pistol. I guess with that kind of light output, battery life isn't expected to be good, but 2 1/2 hours? That almost steered me towards a different light, but I'm not sure which direction makes more sense to sacrifice. In an emergency, I doubt I'd ever regret getting a 135 lumen light, though!

I just got two of these in the mail today, great deal. But so far I have not been able to open them to install the batteries! Any help in getting the stupid battery door open? Thanks.

After flipping back the metal locking piece you need to push down on it to pop it open.

Maybe with a hammer! I'm telling you, these things do not open! Really don't want to break anything and it looks simple as can be, but so far two of us can't get it. I will keep working with them.

I did a quick web cam video and put it on YouTube. Maybe it will help

Thanks for the video, but it's still a no go. That is exactly how I expected it to open. But it won't. I have pushed as hard as I can, I have just about broken a thumb nail off, no go. Guess both these things are just smarter than me, which isn't saying much!
