    Still lost on sling mount

    I have this stock, what sling mount do I need?
    Magpul, MOE Carbine Mil-spec

    See the little hole in the bottom rearmost part? You can put some paracord through that or a wire loop http://www.blueforcegear.com/product...%E2%84%A2.html

    Can also run it through those flat holes.

    You can also attach a sling to the rear of the receiver using Noveske QD End Plate, Magpul ASAP or IKickhipoies SLAP Plate using an HK or MASH hook, a Push Button QD or the cling material itself.

    Boonie Packer has a great almost QD system for their slings that works on the MOE:

    Why do you guys use paracord? Do you loop the entire stock, so the sling is actually centered above it?

    Because it's cheap, Strong, Silent, and universal. I would never use that QD nonsense. It's absolutely nuts to be tied to hardware to get a sling attached to your gun.

    However you want. I just tie a loop of para in a knot, run it through itself and clip my sling on the cord.
