However you want. I just tie a loop of para in a knot, run it through itself and clip my sling on the cord.
We aren't talking QD nonsense though. The OP posted a picture of a stock that has two built in mounts for a quality two point sling (Blue Force Gear, etc.), yet people are telling him to jerry rig it with paracord. I want to know why.

What sling do you want to mount?

This is a really nice two point that will directly mount for your stock without any additional harware, cords, wires, tape etc.

I like the option of easily switching various slings between various rifles, or removing them completely in some circumstances. QD attachment points work well for that and I have them on all my rifles (Noveske/Gear Sector) and QD swivels on all my slings. Very convenient.

I like non rotating QD cups. With that said nothing really wrong with just looping the sling through the slots on the MOE. The vertical one will keep the sling from twisting oddly.

It's not "jerry rigging." I said the flat holes work, and the little round hole works for paracord or wire loop. Paracord just makes sense if you have it and you can redo it anyway you want.

All my important shit is tied off with paracord.

That's what I originally asked. If you are setting it up a certain way, like looping it all the way through so the sling is in a different postion, then I understand. If you are using paracord instead of the intended mount just for the **** of it, then yes you are jerry rigging it. Without an explanation of "redo" it makes very little sense to me.

You and MarkM both give good advice on M4C, so I'm honestly not trying to start shit and am looking for further explanation so I can understand why people are doing this.

That is a great spot to connect. I like that a lot for the MOE. Almost makes spending the extra 40 bucks for the CTR not worth it.

What kind of sling are you attaching?

Two point, use the factory loops in the stock like the above pictures show.

    Single point, get an ASP.

I like QD attachments and generally use those. I use paracord tie-offs for guns with strange attachment points that I can't do anything else with, but those are generally old guns.

In the OP's particular scenario, I would attach the sling directly to the rearmost flat sling cutout on the stock.
