AAC Ruger 10/22 Prototype and Ruger 22/45

This looks pretty slick. I've been contemplating buying one of the Tactical Solutions suppressed .22 rifles but I may have to reconsider.

My knowledge is limited on the subject, first suppressed .22, so if anyone else can chime in on what they think would be distinct advantages or disadvantages to either system it would be appreciated.

This thing is freaking sweet....love 10/22's, even more so w. subsonic's and a suppressor. Normally I would not be interested in an integral .22lr suppressor due to owning multiple .22's, however this thing w. the ports bleeding off bulk pack stuff to subsonic levels is DYNAMITE.

AAC already has my next chuck of money once the SDN-6 is avail...this fantastic designed 10/22 very well could be my next. I know I would shoot it enough to offset the cost for damn sure.

Maybe Jason has some footage of it firing....wink, wink

Since they've cut down the original bull barrel would this have to be registered and taxed as a normal removable suppressor? I don't know the specifics of the NFA laws concerning this but it would be awesome if it didn't have to be.

It is a suppressor and is therefore taxed/transferred as one.

What it is not (as a complete gun) is an SBR, saving you that stamp.

    So much for wishful thinking.

Do you have any additional footage of the weapon firing or any other details? Ballpark pricing and time frame for availability?

Ballpark Pricing I do not have.

    Ballpark availability is Mid-May.

I will take some vids this weekend or early next week.

Irish, thanks for the post! This is very interesting.

I love the idea of the ease of maintenance on this rifle. And saving $200 on the SBR stamp is terrific.

Jason - very well done. A big tip of the hat to your team. This will be a great seller for you, and I'm buying one.

Drop a good trigger into this thing, and add a 1-4X variable scope. You would have a rifle that would be an amazing amount of fun, that you could afford to shoot all day. And not spend all night cleaning it, either.

    Thanks!

    Couple more details-
-We will be selling complete guns as well as just the barrels.
-The barrel and shroud are stainless steel for durability and ease of cleaning
-It fits in most standard bull barrel stocks

Some more footage would be awesome Jason

Is this gonna be sold as a complete integral suppressed 10/22, or just an add on integral suppressed 10/22 barrel?

Be awesome to see some special bolt work if it comes as a complete rifle like chamfering it.

eta....just read the recent replies while I was writing the above.
