    ArmaLite AR-10A4 SBR

I was tempted by a 16" SOF barrel I saw for sale and jumped in with both feet. I decided to have the barrel cut to 13" which leaves me 2.658" of barrel in front of the gas port.

ADCO did the barrel work for me and taper pinned on a Vltor lo-pro gas block.

    The build is as follows:

16" SOF Carbine barrel cut to 13" from the extension to the muzzle.
    Threads precision cut 5/8x24tpi.
Vltor .750 gas block was taper pinned in place.
    LaRue 11.0 AR-10.
    YHM Phantom Q/D mount.
Paperwork is in process @ county CLEO.
A4 upper and new bolt/bolt carrier from Noveske.

Can't wait to see how it runs.....

c'mon, you've been on the internet long enough to know not to post something like this without pics.

Lower has not been approved. Upper is in pieces. Well, mostly in pieces. Wish Grant would ship me the midlength gas tubes I ordered.

    Ok...I lied:

The 7.62 version weighed in @ 25.8oz on my scale. I doubt the 5.56 version is 25oz.

Be sure to stake that carrier key well!

It is staked well. Probably not MOACKS well, but better than any Bushmaster I've ever seen.
