    LMT MRP Build in progress...

    UPDATED POSTS ADDED NEAR BOTTOM

I had no intentions of owning an MRP. It was too expensive and I was content with my BCM. Of course, I always appreciated the platform, but only from afar. After ICANHITMAN sent me a link to a great deal on an MRP chassis, I apparently lost my mind and bought it. As my time in the Marine Corps draws to an end, my time in Law Enforcement will be starting. This rifle will be the exact model I would want as my duty rifle, and if I am able, will in fact be that very rifle.

    Specs:
    LMT MRP CQB Chassis
    BCM FA BCG
    Aimpoint M4

    Planned Specs:
LMT Defender Complete Lower w/Std Trigger
    Magpul CTR Stock
    Tangodown Battlegrip or Ergo grip
    KAC Micro 200-600 BUIS
    LMT Fixed front Buis
LMT 14.5" GI BBL w/pinned BattleComp
    Surefire or Elzetta mounted light
Ares Armor Huskey Amentum 2pt Sling

Of course, I'm always open to critiques and advice. Let me know what you think. Also, for those that can use their personal rifles as their duty weapon, are you relegated to black only or can you use other colors?

The Mag release is a "raddlock bullet button". A CA atrocity to say the least. As far as the lower, that's a Spike's lower I had laying around, it came with the markings painted. For this build, I want to maintain LMT integrity throughout most of it, thats why the LMT Defender is on order.

Your build looks good. Regards to the KAC 600M any reason for that above the 300M? Considering your optic is an RDS and its a duty gun I think the 300M would be a little quicker closer in. The 600M is more for precision guns where you can dial in range on it. Is that what you plan doing?

Ive actually been questioning my need for the 600 BUIS. I can play out scenes in my head where I heroically deploy my KAC 600m buis and take out Mohammed Jihad at 500 yards, but in all actuality the 300m micro sight would work just as well.

I cant seem to find used KAC micro sights anywhere, I'd rather not buy new but w/e.

I only put the 600m's on precision oriented guns. The "carbines" get 300M's. I changed out my SR15 from the factory 600M to a micro 300M.

I think for duty work you would appreciate the quicker 300M more.

LMT Front Sight and KAC 300M Micro Rear have been added to the collection....

KAC 300M Buis purchased from Belmont, turned out to be a gigantic mistake. The sight itself is great, the ordeal with Belmont not so great.

    Specs:
    LMT MRP CQB Chassis Magnificent
    BCM FA BCG Excellent
    Aimpoint M4 Excellent

    Planned Specs:
LMT Defender Complete Lower w/Std Trigger Great lower...highly suggest the 2 stage offering or all together a GA trigger(a new GA trigger that is cheaper than the LMT 2stage should be avail. shortly called the S2S)
    Magpul CTR Stock
Tangodown Battlegrip or Ergo grip MOE...personal preference
KAC Micro 200-600 BUIS The 300m micro is equally awesome
LMT Fixed front Buis I would go w. the KAC micro front sight...its worth it big time imho
LMT 14.5" GI BBL w/pinned BattleComp Excellent
    Surefire or Elzetta mounted light
Ares Armor Huskey Amentum 2pt Sling

Everything looks great so far, look forward to seeing how everything comes together pal

    Question

What camouflage pattern is that on your chest rig? Looks like it might be just the ticket in my neck of the woods
