    Given that it's for an SBR, going CHF is plenty logical, although with the pace of suppressor advancement, by the time the can is worn out, you won't care about the barrel - a cheaper button cut unit will probably still be shooting great up to that point as well.

    The barrel manufacturing process shouldn't have much of any effect on can lifetime, and vise versa; there are so many good choices for SBR barrels, I'd be more concerned about can selection anyway.

    Granted, I've always heard that CHF is better for accuracy.
