Did anyone find one yet? All the ones I have seen are shipping from hong kong.

I'm having a dickens of a time finding AS pistols as well. I thought I found a CO2 powered M&P but the yahoos "oversold" the pistol so I don't get one. Have to go back and punt.

BTW -- There are still open seats for this class.

    Sounds like a great class.

Availability of quality airsoft replicas of the more popular firearms is a challenge. Some enterprising soul ought to figure out a way to do an Airsoft replacement slide like the .22 conversions.

I got tired of looking! I found airsplat.com and ordered an M9 airsoft gun instead. They had paintball BB's too for pretty cheap.

The company that was doing the M&P's didn't renew their rights with Smith and Wesson, so that's why we cant find them anywhere.

All I really need now is a somewhat decent holster that will accommodate the M9 with the TLR-1s. Then I am going to have to buy the real M9 after the class so I can fill the holster

I got my order today. Testing this thing has been fun. I can run drills in my house! Not recommended for those who have a woman to answer too! My target (the box it was shipped in) is outside and I am shooting from behind cover in my kitchen.

All playing aside, the TSD M9 Co2 air pistol is not too bad so far. It is made in Taiwan, not China. For $40, I am impressed. I think it will do fine. Accuracy is good enough I think. Not great, don't expect sub MOA groups. Reloading was a bit of a pain until i figured out that i can lock the spring back and load from the side.

I also bought paint BB's. These have been completely unreliable. Does anyone have a back up plan or product? The ones I am using are made in Taiwan, but the packaging is in French. No brand is specified.

I own a Tokyo Mauri 1911 and G17 , both gas blow back, I've been s proponent of air soft as a training aid , FoF , and at home practice for certain skills for a while .

TC , if your guys get stuck let me know and ill stuff them in a flat rate box for you and you can just ship them back after the class .

As far as I know there are still seats available in this class, folks...it's going to be a good one!

I'm going to take Shawn's advice on the airsoft weapon purchase front since I know precisely beans about AS guns.

After discovering the paintball ammo sucks hard I continued my search for marking ammo. I found some at walmart. they had 2 brands. One was crossman and the other was soft mark. These were regular plastic bb's with a powder coating. I bought both to try.

The soft mark brand refused to feed or fire reliably. more than 1/3 of the rounds failed to fired on the first trigger pull.

The Crossman Marking Ammo has shot 100% reliably.

    Walmart also has cheap CO2

    Just an FYI

Airsoft is certainly harder than I thought it would be.

I checked with "SouthNarc" this morning and there are indeed still slots available for this course.

This is one of the classes I want to take. Stupid family vacation to AZ prevents my attendance.

Look forward to reading some AARs and hopefully getting southnarc back here soon.
