    BH 124gr +P XTP?

A forum search did not turn anything up and I do not see this load mentioned by the good Doc... Any experience with this 9mm load? I can find it locally for a decent price.

Very accurate. Tends to plug up in heavy clothing and act like a ball round. Not great against windshields.

    Thanks for the answer Doc.
I guess I will just stick with the BH 115gr +P Barnes loading.
We tend to wear heavier than average clothing for a good part of the year and the probability of a vehicle being involved is far from negligeable.

Doc, why is it that the same bullet design in different calibers often performs with such radical differences?

For example, The XTP .44 mag performed wonderfully in both the 300 and the 240 gr loads. Yet in 9mm, it plugs through the denim test.

Logically, they would have designed the rounds in different calibers to expand at different velocities, so they should all perform similarly
, as the Gold Dots generally do in service calibers (yet failed in the .44 mag test).

Perhaps it has to do with the diameter of the hollow point opening?
