I need to take a new pic of it now that I've replaced the 7000SC with an R1.

    Thanks

The sight is an XS with the wings installed and silver soldered in place.

Please tell us the specs on the build!
I'm considering purchasing an 1895 SBL or GBL like Glocktogo, but the straight grip and lack of checkering on yours really give it that old schol cool factor.

The gun in the pics is a gun from 1973 so it had no checkering and was 22 inches long when I got it.

I cut it down did the sight work, rail, stock, action, CERA-KOTE, and a little love for fun.

Care to PM a quote on installing those? Would it be possible to just send the rail to save on shipping?

The gun would need to be in the shop I have to solider the sight to the gun and mod the rail to work with it.

The rear sight you have on that gun is only held in place with one screw and a stud so I like to solider the sights on the gun.

It just makes more sense to solider the sights on the big guns.

Nice work! I love the 45/70 and that would be a handy little rifle.
