Awesome thread. Interesting to see how far things have come.
Here is an old Aimpoint Electronic with what appears to be a G2 base. Not quite sure what the full story is behind this strange combination. Still works, too.
Oh a similar note, here are a couple of Laser Devices laser units from the year 1988. Powered by two 9v batteries, each. They still work!

SinglePoint historical significance
This has been a very interesting thread. Based on what I've learned about my SinglePoint I believe it needs to move along to someone else who will appreciate it for it's historical value.
I'm going to sell it on the retroblackrifle.com website and donate the proceeds to that website. Son Tay, where SinglePoints (almost) got blooded, was on my watch, and I never knew it 'til now. I don't know what it's worth, so its on their Pricing Info forum, and I've asked the mods over there to help me do it right.
