One of the stages at the 2011 Sniper's Hide Cup at Rifles Only. The stage was as follows:

    1) run over and through culverts
    2) engage small target at 15 yards with pistol
    3) transition to various shooting positions with rifle, engaging a mover with a 3 inch shoot-n-c

I actually went back to Rifles Only (I love that place) soon after the match to work on my positional/weak side shooting...that stage was a killer.

On Sunday I shot a USPSA match in open Division. Not sure of the results yet as they have not posted them. I did blow the classifier by hitting a no shoot.

I had a great time at both matches. At the end of the month there is a State three gun match in Kenai that I am trying to get ready for.

Nice Berd! The only thing more painful for me to watch than a lefty work an AR is to see them swing a golf club. Totally warps my head. Sounds like a fun group to shoot with, even if you killed the hostage.

In the first video, you flip over one of three small white chips- does that tell you what targets to engage?
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

    Thank you sir.

It's funny I think the same thing when I see a right hander run them things.

The small chips had a corresponding number to the number of dots on one of the three targets in each array that was your no shoot for that stage.

Annual State Championship 3 Gun Shoot in Kenai Alaska 2011. I finished 3rd in Open division and 4th overall. 1 tactical shooter beat me. (A friend of mine who is way faster and it showed on the score card) It was a great match. There were 8 shooters in open and 26 shooters in the entire match. Most in tactical just 2 shooters in Limited.
I got a bad sub burn. Who would have thought it would be 75 in Kenai in May but it was. Some comic relief moments. On stage 3 I tripped over the shooting box on the way to ground my pistol and ate a bit of dirt. I held on to my pistol and did not break the 180 so no DQ. I got up as fast as I could cleared the pistol and put my ear protection back on and carried on. I actually got first place on that stage. This was due to the fact it was a very friendly stage for the Saiga Shotgun I was running from R&R targets.

This was a team shoot side match.

This was a team event. It starts with the pistol shooter holding my rifle mag. He runs to his stage and clears the big poppers from the far table (magazines had to be loaded with only 10 rounds to make it fair for all divisions as much as possible) and then he had to run up to the smaller table and clear the small poppers. He then grounds the pistol on safe and runs the rifle mag to my other team mate who is using my Saiga. He takes the mag and clears the shotgun targets. He was only allowed to load with 9 in the gun. He did not miss one shot and the fast reload with the coupled magazine helped us a lot. He then grounded the shotgun and took the rifle mag to me who finished the stage with my rifle. shooting steel targets at 200 yards. Some colt speed plates and some pesky poppers (1/5 sized pepper poppers) We finished it in 97 seconds next fastest team as 104.
