Potential benefits of 200gr XPB vs. 185?

I've been working on my own loads of the Barnes TacXP 185gr bullets in .45 ACP, and have also been experimenting with the 200gr bullets, which do work despite Barnes' load data not including it.

However, the 200gr are, despite only 15gr more copper, a lot more expensive.

From a ballistics standpoint, what is the presumptive improvement, if any, of the 200gr bullet over a 185gr bullet?

All other factors being equal, a heavier bullet will penetrate deeper.

Consider the difference between the 5.56 mm 50 gr TSX vs. 70 gr TSX.

    Ah, yes, thank you doc.

As a side note, I've gotten a good load with the 200gr projectile that gives me about 1100 FPS with it. Highly accurate, definitely snappy, but about the same as the perceived recoil from the HST +Ps I've tried.
