I'm in cental Palm Beach County and this about 30 minutes northwest of me. Not sure how deep into Miami you are, but from the Broward/Dade county line on I-95 this would be about 1 1/2 hour ride. Also I just tried the website and it wasn't working but I know they're open. This is a police range and is open to the public several days a month. You need to call in advance or check website when it's operational to get open dates. Hope it helps.

Thanks brother that's not too bad of a drive at all for me. I'm about 20 minutes from the Dade/Broward line on the Turnpike. One of my Lt's lives up in Loxahatchee.

there is one on Okeechobee, also. It might be a little further than you would like to drive.

I just checked that place out on suggestion of an email I received, looks good and 2-2.5 hours is not a big deal for me. The stuff 4 hours out is a bit much but might be worth it every now and then for the longer distances.

    Thanks

A little late to the rodeo, but Okeechobee Shooting Sports runs to 200 yards at all times, either on the rifle range or the rifle gallery range. They also open to 500 yards, this month 3 times after hours on Fridays. Plans are for taking the rifle gallery range out to 1000 yards eventually. I am a member out there, the ride is 55 minutes for me from Jupiter.

The guys at the Indian River shooting range are excellent. There is a range with 50, 100 and 200 yard distances. Good prices. Worth the travel.
