    You also may want to try a std power CS buffer spring from Brownells or Springco (their 'white' spring).

    The inconsistent ejection angles are due to inconsistencies in the rearward speed of the BCG.

    Andrew @ Vuurwapen Blog did some recent tests showing that the CS buffer springs seemed to keep the range of BCG velocities in a MUCH tighter window. The brownells spring is under $5 and was tested favorably. This should make your ejection more consistent and give you a better idea of how close you are to a buffer that is too heavy to lock back on empty.

    Maybe even try a springco Blue w/ an H buffer? Either way, great videos. I really love what the slow-motion reveals about the AR platform.
