    New Noveske build

So I got out yesterday and shot my new Noveske build yesterday and damn it can shoot!!! Put 7 rounds into a half inch group with a lot of wind (was moving me around using a sand bag), I did have 3 rounds that went high but that was shooter error (still have a lot to learn).

    Build:
Upper Noveske with Vltor MUR-1 upper, Noveske 18" stainless and fluted barrel, Viking Tactics 13" extreme rail, Troy fold down sights, Larue Mount with 1-4 optic (S&B is coming for this rifle so optic is temporary), Battle Comp 2.0, Wilson TTU trigger, LMT Sopmod stock, and Magpul sling points.

I plan on buying the same rifle in 14.5 inch for close up work, super super impressed with Noveske quality, been a Colt and LMT guy for a long time but the Noveske is a lot nicer!!!! And their super responsive to customer questions and needs.

Very nice. While not a fan of lite single stage triggers or single point slings on heavy guns, I think you have made some excellent choices in your gear selection.

This rifle as seen in the pics weighs 8lbs on the button!! The fluting and forearm saved a lot of weight!! I have several lowers some with giessele triggers, still deciding if I like the Wilson trigger.

Still a little on the heavy side, but does look to be closer to the 10LBS mark though.

Roger on the trigger. Single Stage triggers have their place, just not on combat guns.

Yea put it on a certified shipping scale and it hit 8lbs as in pic unloaded. I have lighter rifles but for more of a DMR I think it's just right. I look forward to the S&B 1-8 to come out, I might put a Nightforce 2.5-10 on it for now to see what it can do at longer ranges. Didn't build this one as a door kicker but more of a distance shooter.
