A 20” barrel is probably in my MWSs future. The 18” SS has been great as has the 16” CL. No complaints. Might even dive into 6.5CM.

Pics with the 16”CL .308 barrel. Hand load development. I am still getting used to the PRS stock. The LOP with the included pad is too long for me and I am looking around for something thinner. The stock is nice. I may get a rifle length buffer tube as well at some point.

Well here we are almost 1yr later from LMT’s last 12 days of Christmas sale that lead me to go ham and buy an MLR chassis, leading to a MARS-L, MARS-H, and a MWS MLOK upper. Seems like yesterday and I’m still recovering from my unplanned kit corse correction. I still need a 14.5 for my light Reece build and the LMT Black Friday sale was disappointing. Hopefully they’ll have the 12 days sale again catering to my needs and absent of further temptation....

The DMR308 stock is PRS without the extra weight and length. It's worth a look. On sale I bought a DMR556 for $215.

Looks like the MP PRS. I must have missed the sale. All I really need is a thinner shoulder pad. MP doesn’t seem to sell one.

The PRS collapsed is as long as an A2, does not make sense at all.

I'll be honest, it looks great and the reviews are fantastic but I'm not spending 250 on a stock. Bear in mind, I have 2 mws and a kac 5.56 so not opposed to spending coin but damn, I just cannot bring myself to drop 268 with tax on one

The thicker shoulder pad makes it even longer which is too much for me. I will keep looking for a more thin shoulder pad. Until then, bare bones stock.

Apologies for what might be a dumb question, but does anyone have experience with the Magpul M-Lok 3-slot aluminum rail section as a bipod mount? Is it enough for the MWS or would the 5-slot with wider spaced screws be needed for the preload/recoil of 308?
