Been running my rifle in over the last few weeks. It takes a while when you don't have a gas system ��.

Using GGG flying at 720m/s. Under the patch we're 3 rounds I zero'd from the the "final 3" in the centre - 100m.



S&B 3-12 in the new quick detach AI mount so I can replace it with my 1.5-6x Elcan.




Have flip up irons to add and I'm trying to get hold of a .308 side charging handle but finding one in stock is proving difficult. (Thanks for your help so far Boba).

Got to shoot 300-600yds for the first time today. Brought my 16" MWS out to the 2017 Sac Valley Precision Mid-Range Rifle Marksmanship Clinic and it definitely performed.

Here's 3 consecutive shots, during a slow-fire string @ 600yds. The wind had just died down for a quick moment!

Nice! Which barrel do you have? Last time I took my MWS to one of the Sac Valley PRC practices I couldn't get hits on the target past 800yds with the 16" 1:11.25 SS barrel and 175gr FGMM. The 1:10 CL barrel can probably do it though (my PWS 16" 1:10 MK216 can do 1k).

Very nice shooting. I took my MWS 16CL and ran a 500, 630, 900, 1000 yard shots with 168 match Ammo, wind was nice to us today.

Since I changed to Gen II PRS stock this gun is back to AWESOME.

I ran the factory 16" 1:10 cl barrel and 168gr FGMM. Would like to take it out further the next opportunity i get.

Agreed. Almost as easy as popping on a sopmod. The biggest feature I like, is the buttstock is canted so you can roll your rear bag forward or back to get on target. AR15, pics coming to you. You can post if they work for you.

IMHO, you don't know how (or I didn't know), hampered I was with a regular AR stock. ie SOPMOD, ACS etc. Ill tell you how I set up my height with a stock cheek riser. I set it too high and try to get a sight picture and slowly move the stock down until I can barely see through it with max pressure and adjusting my head. Then I click it one more click lower and Im good. I find that way, after recoil if Im keeping cheek pressure I still maintain follow through and can track my hits. And it provides max stability.

If I cheat my head up to see through the scope with a Sopmod, after recoil, Im lost.

My buddy runs his Sopmod and is happy as can be. Shoots great groups and goes LR no problem. For me, It just didn't fit my melon. If your shooting the gun great, then no worries. If you feel like your struggling a bit, the new PRS might be a solid investment.
