Thanks guys. It was a process, but turned out.

I also cut down the original 16 barrel to 14.0 and pinned a surefire brake and have a FDE SPS as an alternative barrel setup. The QDC can pretty much lives on one of my SR25s so this barrel will mostly run without the can. The 14 barrel with pretty much run exclusively with the Surefire can.

I shot a guy at around 400m this last trip. Wasn't a clean kill (snap shot though a thermal - but he wasnt happy about it). I had zero issues hitting man sized targets out to 700m with the 13" barrel.

I did some muzzle velocity testing with different loads - see below.

Wow seriously?! Only 83fps? Why wouldn't someone run a 13 over a 16 then? Maybe I'll get the 13" lightweight stainless barrel from lmt instead of the 16"...

Yes, that freedom munitions is horrible ammo. Luckily to hit the shoot and see. But for slapping steel and punching paper, who cares what it is. Sometimes we just need some trigger time.
