Thanks! No need to SBR when with the 13.5 barrel as the OAL with MAMS is 16". Surefire Brake you would need 14.0 or greater.

Good to know the MAMS will get a 13.5 over 16". YHM also has a flash hider that will do the same. I've been down this road, not very many options to get you over 16". https://yhm.net/phantom-7-62-q-d-fla...ssor-1730.html

Surefire 7.62 SOCOM mini is the most recent addition.....stamps came in....almost 11 months!

Meh, I could cut a new LMT barrel down to 14" but would 2" really matter? I think I will leave well enough alone for now. Probably be suppressed shooting from now on.

Ever inch helps when you run a can on one of these. I decided to cut the 16 factory barrel down to 14 and pin a surefire brake with the can. 2 inches less of dwell time is a big improvement in overgassed barrels. If I didn't already own a 13.5 barrel, I would have chopped down another 16 barrel to 13.5 instead.
