I don’t think the Warcomp will make 16” if pinned/welded. Which is why I bought a MAMS to go on my LW 13.5” 5R barrel.

Ok, thanks. I will make sure before sending it off. Just to be sure, it’s TOTAL over all length correct? By my measurements, the war comp by itself is 2.75”ish in length. Total overall length of my 16”CL is 18.75” with the war comp attached.

I think your right in your original post in regards to creating a true Battle Rifle using the MWS as the base.

My 16” barrel with ASR brake weighs 3 lb. 8 oz. The 16” barrel that I had cut down to ~14”, dimpled (behind/infront of gasblock), and ASR flash hider pinned/welded weighs 3 lb. 1 oz.

I asked LMT this exact question. 13.5 plus Warcomp will not make 16". Would need to cut down 16" to 13.7" then PW Warcomp.

Apparently the LMT three prong F/H is of length needed due to them using it on the rifle I listed a page back.
