LMT .308 MWS Pictures show us your setup

My 16” barrel with ASR brake weighs 3 lb. 8 oz. The 16” barrel that I had cut down to ~14”, dimpled (behind/infront of gasblock), and ASR flash hider pinned/welded weighs 3 lb. 1 oz.

Nice work. Dimpling looks like genuine Hattori Hanzō craftmanship. I'm curious as to if it's possible to dimple the LW series of barrels.

Apparently the LMT three prong F/H is of length needed due to them using it on the rifle I listed a page back.

Heads up......I just talked to LMT today and the gentleman on the phone said that the 3 prong FH that LMT has right now on the website is NOT the FH needed to make a PW 16” barrel. He said they are developing a slightly longer FH that will make the PW 16” length.

Roger that. Looks like I need a better scale though. I am hoping for iron sights only with a 20 round mag right around 10-11 lbs.

I like that green MWS! Too bad they appear to be out of stock. If I had one, I would call it “The HULK”.

Edit: I see they do have the stripped upper available in green. Great price too.

I stopped by my LGS to check to see if they could order the green MWS - he said he had emailed them last night and hadn’t heard back. He wasn’t sure what he could sell it for either.

Decided to pull the trigger last night but it was already sold out. Not going to buy the upper chassis as a stand alone. It was an all or nothing deal for me. I did pick up the MRP CQB upper and Defender lower though.
