@Boba Fett v2. I looked at a lot of SR25 gun porn and strongly considered doing a sand/FDE Cerakote on my MWS at the time. I like the looks of them all. In the end I didn't want to be sheepish and I have always been an O.D. Green fanatic. I don't regret my decision.

As far as your RAL-8000, I would have no remorse with that rifle. I was shocked at how well it looked when I saw it on the forum. Very unique color as far as rifles go and hadn't even considered it as I hadn't seen any samples of a rifle featured in that color. I've got three HK's in RAL-8000. While that color is referred to as baby-poo and mustard, I personally like it. Photographs usually don't accurately represent it for what it looks like in person. Your photographs I have seen however, do.

I appreciate that and I do get a lot of positive feedback and comments on the rifle, but that's part of the problem. I hate taking it out to public ranges because it attracts a lot of attention, which means I end up talking about it more than I do shooting it. Lol But sharing is part of the enjoyment, so no real complaints here. I can only imagine the kind of attention the greenodized MWS would draw. Probably a good thing I initially passed on that one.

One thing I noticed is that some of the pics on LMT’s site looked very flat OD green, and some looked lighter green and shinier. Either way, I bet they look great in person and I’d be happy to have one. I have skipped out on several great deal, special runs from LMT. They will catch me in the right spot one of these days. I think it will probably have to be MARS lower and/or MLC upper for me to bite.

Damn that's sexy! You should get some pics of that in the light. I'm jealous how fast you get your LMT orders, my last have taken a few weeks.

I keep hearing that it might not be worth the effort since it's hard to get anodizing to match up perfectly, so there will be some variances in the OD shade if that matters to you.

A comparison of how Canteen Green looks against Magpul OD green on my SR25 lower. Will likely go with all black furniture to offset once I get a dedicated lower for it. Sadly, these beautiful dimples were hidden under the slick chassis, but now can be viewed and appreciated.
