That's the coolest ano I've seen outside of the multi cam Geissele did years ago on some MK5s.

That is sweet!!!!! I might have to spend money now. I’m so glad it’s anodizing and not cerakote. I like cerakote and I know it has a good rep but in my experience it doesn’t even compare in durability and scratch resistance to anodizing or even park




Eta. Is Marvin Pitts still offerering his barrel extension conversion on a a standard barrel? I’ve put my MWS on the back burner for the past few years and I’ve had a 6.5RA (Shilen) ultramatch barrel on my short list for a while. I want to start shooting 1k again

Very nice chunk of aluminum! I thought about going stripped lower and piecing it with LMT LPK -Trigger so I could Giessle and part it out as I wanted....But in the end I only wanted to replace the grip and trigger... These new lowers are very nice. A jump forward for the 5.56. The old 7.62 MWS Lowers are more KACish and I believe slightly better looking. Slightly. However, the MARS-H is a league of it's own as well....Enjoy. Can't wait to see it grow.

@Boba Fett v2. I looked at a lot of SR25 gun porn and strongly considered doing a sand/FDE Cerakote on my MWS at the time. I like the looks of them all. In the end I didn't want to be sheepish and I have always been an O.D. Green fanatic. I don't regret my decision.

As far as your RAL-8000, I would have no remorse with that rifle. I was shocked at how well it looked when I saw it on the forum. Very unique color as far as rifles go and hadn't even considered it as I hadn't seen any samples of a rifle featured in that color. I've got three HK's in RAL-8000. While that color is referred to as baby-poo and mustard, I personally like it. Photographs usually don't accurately represent it for what it looks like in person. Your photographs I have seen however, do.
