A few that I've seen in here have SF muzzle brakes but with a spacer to get to length. Same goes for the KAC Mams QDC, but to be honest, the last thing I wanna do is buy Knights. Thanks in advance.
I’m not certain, but I’m fairly sure, surefire devices, will not bring a13.5” to 16” unfortunately. I think the topic was broached for a 13.7” and it was still a no go....I think your only option is a MAMS. I know it’s expensive, but quite frankly, the only thing I would consider absent of a Surefire.

Surefire 3 prong adds 3" from the barrel shoulder to the tip of the flash hider, including spacer and shims.

Threaded portion of barrel on my spare 16" is .650.
    3"-.650"+13.5=15.85" bummer

Thanks Sabre. After doing some research, honestly, it'd be less expensive to buy a 16" and cut it down to 14.5" than to go Knights, as awesome as their kit is, not being a diehard fan coupled with their prices are huge barriers.

LMT/556: got specs on that spacer?

A factory LW 16” MWS Barrel, chopped to 14.5”, w/ pinned Surefire, would be legit...

SF3P-762-5/8-24=2.84" long. The spacer is .126". Approximately .031 in additional shims were required to time the thing, almost 1 full rotation worth.

Sweet, maybe I'll get lucky with someone panic selling and scoop one in the next few weeks and build from there.

If you check out the other forum, there are complete rifles and take off parts in the AR10EE. Last spare barrel I paid $275 for a 16" chrome lined.

Roger that, armslist has what appears to be a gen 1 quad rail going for well under msrp. I wish I knew about lmt before I got into ARs 10 years ago, the modularity is brilliant.

If you shop around you can get an older gen 2 quad rail or LM8 for under $2000. You may have to piece it together from a few different vendors. The cost-to-performance of LMT .308s is astounding.
