    Target for RB1 Standards

I have updated the RB1 Pistol and Carbine Standards to include target information for those that do not have RB1 targets.

I shot this drill today, first time, cold. Since I have shot the Hack and 10-8 a few times I figured I would attempt to push the speeds and really challenge myself with the times. Overall it is a good test of a shooters various skills and fundamentals. On the downside, I really like simple drills with similar times and not needing to drag out barricades. I understand the reasoning but heck I get lazy at times.

Anyway I shot a video, of course, but the battery died at the 20m line. Maybe I will try to get another video run and shoot it up and up without rushing the pace and attempt to run it clean.

    Question

    Jason,

    Thanks for sharing these.

I have a question on the carbine standards ... Serial 8, second bullet point:

5 rounds body strong side cover, transition 5 rounds strong side cover – 16 sec
    Did you mean to say:

5 rounds body strong side cover, transition 5 rounds weak side cover – 16 sec
I'm assuming vertical cover means a barricade?

    Thanks!

I read "transition" to mean going to pistol as Serial 8 Bullet Point 1 clearly states "weak side cover, support shoulder"

Thanks, always nice to support good people like yourselves. I have enjoyed Jason's drills on video and would love to train with him and the folks at RB1 in the future. My plate has been so full with various courses this past year, that I would love to get in a trip and just be on the shooting line side of things for a change, but it is only going to get worse for the remainder of this year. Maybe 2012.
