Wow, that's scary quiet. Do you know if the MK18 was a DD or LMT and what kind of mount he used? I have a DD with a 10.3" barrel and I want to get a 762-SDN-6 with a Brakeout mount, but I'm afraid that the rail will interfere with suppressor clearance.

The suppressor barely goes over the mount. If you have enough room to get mount on, you probably don't need more than 1/4 inch past the mount.

Shot mine all morning on a bolt gun today, it's just so nice.

Excuse the iPhone pics. But I think this might answer your question. I have a LMT 10.5" barrel with the mk18 rail. It's tight but as you can see 10.3" should just clear it. The difference between 10.5" and 10.3" is 3/16". With my AAC 51t brake, the suppressor latch is just a hair over 3/16" from the rail. I think it would look pretty sick on the 10.3". No barrel showing, that's for sure lol

That was my thought exactly. Either pretty sick or not fit at all haha. My local dealer ordered 9k worth of AAC shit but none of it has come in yet so I can't go test fit as he offered me to do. Do you have any calipers to measure the gap between the back of the can and the rail?

    Mahk-

The AAC mounts that have a "skirt" or extension behind the ratchet teeth will work with your 10.3 MK18.

The ones that have a flat back behind the ratchet teeth will not (without a custom-made spacer or a double stack of shims).

Most Blackout Flash Hiders have this rear extension, and the newer Brakeout comps do too.

See my handy chart- top hider has the back part, the bottom brakeout does not (but some of the newer ones do).

    Nice chart JasonM.
I have a KAC Block III 11.5" SBR upper on order from Knights and a SDN-6 from my local dealer. I'm kind of worried I'll have the same fitment issue mentioned above, as the URXII rail comes pretty damn close to the A2 flash hider based on the pics I have seen. I don't understand why AAC made the Blackout with the rear extension but not the muzzle brake or Brakeout. I'm going to be pissed if I have to sell yet another AAC muzzle brake to purchase the latest version with the extension. But I won't know for a while since I have neither of these items in hand.

Well shit. The problem with running the blackout is that it doesn't have the flat in front of the chamber to act as a sacrificial baffle like the Brakeout and the brake do. I don't want to tear up the suppressor any faster than I already will with the brake by using the flashhider. What a drag.

    I have a SDN-6 on order.
Does the brakeout come in 5/8-24 threads?

I am running a breakout that I got 2 months ago ant it has the skirt. That is were you tighten it wit your wrench. I think if you order one now you will get one with the skirt..
