Colt CR6724 24" upper on carbine lower?

I just bought a new Colt CR6724 24" accurized upper and intend to shoot it initially on a one of my carbine lowers with a two-stage trigger. Am I GTG with the current carbine buffer and spring? I was thinking my Knight's lower might be best, since it is set up for the KAC mid-gas system, which would be closer to a rifle gas system, and has a little heavier SOPMOD stock.

Advise is much appreciated - thanks.

    It'll work

But it's going to be very muzzle heavy.

Thanks belatedly for the reply. I've decided to build a dedicated PSR-type lower.
