You put a BCM BFH on a special Olympic Arms lower?

If I'm correct it's because he lives in CT and requires a pre-ban lower in order to be able to use a collapsable stock and other AR goodies.

I tried to look at that, but the OP doesn't list his location so I couldn't give him the benefit of the doubt.

Let me be the first to actually say something positive...

Nice build. Any further plans for that build?

I figured the fact that he stated the year the lower was manufactured would hint that he is in a ban state.

Why else use an Olympic lower?

It is a forged lower, so if it specs out, assuming he's got quality internals and receiver extension, he should be GTG.

I guess in some places it's a take what you can get scenario. It's unfortunate for those fellow shooters who are in ban states, even though the ban has long ago officially ended.

How are the specs on the lower, by the way? Did it all go together ok? Does it rattle excessively? Any noticeable issues with it so far?

i havent shot it yet as i just got the BCG in the mail from rainier arms, its their so called "thunderbolt".

as far as the lower being up 2 spec goes, everythings pretty tight, very minimal play if any now with the BCG in, nice trigger pull, mil spec buffer tube..

ive read that people complain about pmags not fitting oly arms lowers, i wouldnt kno b/c i dont have any pmags, but all of the 6 usgi mags i have 2 of which are teflon coated from BCM all fit and fall out flawlessly.
