DSA is now offering US receivers based on the Australian pattern Inch receiver.

Grab up a L1A1 kit and have at it.

    What countries produced "inch" FAL's?

I've seen a lot of FAL parts kits listed, but many of them only list the country of origin and not whether it's inch or metric.

Do any parts work on both?

FYI - JOHNO & I worked out a deal for the barrel.

The British Commonwealth used "Inch" pattern FAL's....Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand.

Britain, Australia and Canada built the rifles, all slightly different (like AK's built by different contries), but they all take the same Inch pattern magazine.

The vast majority of Inch kits in the US are Australian in origin. There are a few Brit kits running around, but very, very few Canadian C1 kits.

Now you need to go watch "The Odd Angry Shot".......Aussie SAS in Vietnam.
