Why would you want to replace the BCG?

I wanted all DD built around the receivers and where I couldn't I used BCM. It was just a personal preference for this build. I have a few BCM's and I am very happy with them but I wanted something different for this one.......

Cool, I guess that also explains why you went with a standard CH instead of a gunfighter.

    P.S. Super nice stick.

Nice. I have a very similar setup.

How much did Adco charge for the assembly of the upper? Did you just tell them the components you wanted or did you ship them the stuff?

I sent them the stripped upper and BCM A2X and I purchased the barrel w/FSB, gas tube, and rail from them. (they were the only vendor that had all the parts in stock) Since I don't have the tools and have never built an upper before and seeing how they had the parts I needed it was just cheaper and faster to have them do it for me. The assembly charge was $35.00 and the pin and weld was $15.00. I could have done the pin and weld myself, I am a certified welder but I don't have access to a machine right now so I had them do that too.

They did a nice looking job and I got it back within a week so I am very satisfied so far. I plan on shooting it this weekend and will update on its functionality after that.........

I love the billet....the lines are great.

But man is that a huge ambi selector. I'm curious how you like it after running it for awhile.
