    RRA/Stag Middy

This one is old, but I figured what the heck. I haven't posted it yet. Let me know if the pics work.

RRA Upper w/16" Chromed 1/9 Mid-Length RRA Barrel
RRA BCG w/MP Bolt (lucked out)
    Stag Arms lower w/A2 stock.
    YHM Flip-Up BUIS
    YHM Phantom Flash Hider

    NC Star 3-9x Mil-dot ($50)
    No Name Scope Mount ($35)

I put the upper together not realizing I could have probably just ordered it that way. But I was a newbie when I built it. Was overly concerned with getting a F-marked FSB. lol.
Now, I wasn't too excited about buying that optic setup, but the irons are just not working for me. I am not sure what is going on, I think I just suck or something. But it ended up being very accurate for the price.

    The goods....

Barrel just loves the XM193... wolf just sucks, but you already knew that.
Given the pattern, it looks like the gun could have done better. Straight up and down. Wind, etc.

Used a couch cushion as a rest, ended up meeting the muzzle accidentally. Girlfriend actually took it well. God damn I am a hick.

I used a heavy leather jacket--as in, serious road armor--as a shooting rest many years ago for an AK I had at the time. Oddly enough, was out shooting with my girlfriend. Anyhow, was blasting away at 50yd when I hear a weird *pop* sound. I immediately removed the magazine, racked the charging handle, and begin to wonder if I'd had a squib when Amy starts laughing uncontrollably.

The recoil had shimmied the jacket up, little by little, until it got in front of the muzzle and blasted a hole straight through the back. Blew open the seam, too.

For the next week before I could take it in to have it sewn back together, I had to wear it. Was kinda funny telling people who asked about my "gunshot wound."

Regarding the rifle, not bad. Not my cup o' tea, but seems decent.
