Magpul grip on a mossy 500?

Hi all! I've seen some operators had put a Magpul MIAD on their Mossberg 500's. I'm curious on how they did it because I'm going crazy on Google looking for the mount to put a MIAD on. Does anybody know if theres a kit out there to do this?

Please don't do that. Share your findings, for those that may be seeking the same configuration. Thanks

Because of the nature of the safety on the Mossberg 500, I recommend against pistol grips for this shotgun.

You're right. I used to have a pistol grip on a Mossberg and I had to do serious manipulations to reach the safety. I didn't really see it being worth it, but YMMV.

As already mentioned the safety is not ideally placed for pistol grip use. The top mounted safety makes the Mossy quick and easy to manipulate with the thumb of the trigger hand.

The only effectiver ways of manipulating the safety with the pistol grip are to: Take your trigger hand away from the trigger; or, reduce overall weapon stability by manipulating the safety with the non-trigger hand by removing it from the fore end.

Talking of safeties: I can recommend the big Vang Comp safety.

Does it work on a Remington? That'd be the better way to go. Also, anyone want to link to the conversion?
The closest I get to being an operator is dialing "0".

Found it myself, so for the rest of you, let me fix this thread: It's made by Mesa Tactical for the Mossberg and the Remington. Enjoy!
