Offset mount for Scout M620C or M260V?

Does Larue or another vendor make an offset mount that works with the Scout Light M620C or M260V?

Is there such a thing? If not, does anyone have plans to produce one?

    Thanks

Never seen one. You will need an offset rail. Those scout lights have a different body and are not as popular as the regular scouts, so I doubt anybody will be making a dedicated mount for them anytime soon.

The M620C and M620V use the M93 SureFire QD mount which is compatible with the standard mount used on the M951 and M961, therefore any QD mounts for the SureFire M95X/96X series will be compatible. You will need to use the LaRue LT-170 and then use an angle mount with 5 slots. YHM and Double Star make 5-slot angle mounts.

Danger Close had one a while back.
I have the regular Danger Close offset Scout mount which is more common, I can't source the offsets they made for the M620 type though..

Just FYI, the Gear Sector offset X300 mount won't work because it doesn't have enough rail space. You need at least 4 slots in the rail to fit an M951 or M620.

EDIT: I found an offset mount for the M620/M620V as Rattlehead was describing, as you can see in this pic: http://imageshack.us/f/259/img4252ks.jpg/
However it is not a quick-detach if that is a feature you need, and I don't know where you can find the DC offset mount for sale, I too have been looking for one.

Danger Close does not make an X300 mount, although we have an offset 45 degree rail made to clear the 50MM OBJ of a Special Operations Unit's S&B scopes on an SR25. I suppose you could put on on there but there are better option on the market.

We have an adapter for the 620V/Millenium lights that you can pre-order from Grey Group. They will by nature fit any Scout mount and also provide the necessary standoff to clear the V series or Millenium heads.

I've had these for almost a year but have been to busy to get to them. Now that the 9xxV and 620V are more prevalent they are in production and should be around in the next month or so I hope.

ETA: That one in the pic is one of the original run I did, that belongs to member Texas12 here I believe.

My apologies, I was thinking of the Gear Sector offset X300 mount and got it confused with the Danger Close offset Scout mount. I edited my post to correct that.

Can anyone shed some light on the use of the full size scout m600 vs. the M620.

It does not seem as thought the M620 is as popular?

I seems like the better light as it is smaller in length than the full size scout but still holds two batteries and has the same output as the full size scout.

    Am I missing something?

I believe the advantage of the M620 and M620V is that they come with the M93 SureFire QD mount, not that it's bulky or preferable to a LaRue or anything.

I would like to get two of the off-set DCC mounts from Grey Group but I'm not seeing it on their site, do I have to call to pre-order?

ETA: I re-read M4Guru's post that they should be around next month. Looking forward to them, will wait patiently as these seem like a solid option, better than an offset mount with the OEM light mounted to it (seems bulky, haven't tried it but I want to get my M951s away from the 3 o'clock and around the 1:30 area).
