    Blowout KIts

Anyone know who carries a quality blowout kit(in stock), and I don't mean just the pouch.
I need one to attach to pals, fully stocked with all the med gear.
Price doesn't matter; just has to be enough for one guy, not a full medic setup.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Questions

What level of training do you have? Wouldn't this bear on the decision process? Or do you simply want to have it available so a trained responder will have what is necessary to save your life?

Justice Robert Jackson, WV St. Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943)

MSTN has a complete kit, along with an instructional DVD - Yes, I know DVDs are not a substitute for competent training.

    Gunsite sells the same kit.

It is an End User kit, not stocked for a medic (Mil or Civ para-god).

Lightbulb Blow out kits and the proper training to use them

Assuming you have, or are about to get the proper training to use it, attached below is one option. There are many others. North Amercian Rescue Products is another site to check out.

The three main things to deal with immediately are :

    Obstructed airway/breathing

Unchecked hemorage, traumatic amputation, severed artery

    Sucking chest wound

Once again, proper training is key. Hope that helps.

Here's one two. Make sure to get the expanded kit.

There are only three types: Trained, Un-trained or JAFO.
    Which one are you?

    You can also try http://www.tacsurv.com.

They have complete blowout kits that can be tailored to whatever requirements you need. They also do custom kits as well.

another option is one from Endom:

    http://www21.serrahost.com/emdomusa/Detail.bok?no=46

    and another one from ATS:

    http://www.atstacticalgear.com/istar.asp?a=3&dept=MEDIC

BTW, the ATS Medical Pouches (both small and large)are very unique in
that it has the ability to be pulled away from where ever it is attached.

    Blow Out Kit

I got mine from EMDOM. Goiong to a class on how to use it properly at months end. Happy with its contents and price.
They have several kits from standard first aid kit to full out kit.
