So I'm looking to get my cherry popped on an AR. I have been looking at the Stag's and RRA's; I like the 2 stage trigger but those are the only ones I've fired. I want the rifle to match (upper/lower) but it's not a deal breaker if it doesn't.
I'm looking for an M4gery with a collapsible buttstock and haven't made up my mind if I want the carry handle or just a good set of flip up sights so I can get an Aimpoint further down the road. I like the idea of the chrome lined barrel but again not a deal breaker, I'm more concerned about buying a good rifle.
So basically I'm looking to buy 1 rifle and have it for years and I want to make the right choices from the start. It is a range gun and possibly some 3 gun matches and some "run-n-gun" and of course the apocalypse.
What can you guys suggest? If it's different than what I've mentioned, I'm all ears.
