OK, I'm certified full retard. I thought you meant loaded ammunition! I really need a loading press.

I'm currently steeling myself to maintain concentration on my driving as I pass by the usual suspects swarming the grocery stores when I head home this afternoon. We're supposed to get a touch of snow here in Eastern N.C. into this evening.

The press is the cheap part...

Local Dick's Sporting Goods had twelve 500rd cases of Independence AR5.56 20rd boxes of IMI made X-193 for $8.99 + tax a pop.

It works out to 48.55 cents a round at my local tax rate which is not bad considering most on-line vender's want 100.00 to 200.00 more per 500rds plus shipping.

Plus its fresh stuff with a date stamp of "12" and is imported by Federal so there is someone to contact should the stuff show sub-par performance.

A few just happen to follow me home.

We are all inclined to judge ourselves by our ideals; others, by their acts.

They're all gone. Brownells still allows back order on almost all their reloading supplies (minus most of the .223-related stuff).

On reccomendation from markm, I ordered the Dillon Carbide set for .223. It's probably the most expensive around, but also the best.

Just make sure you get in the line...

My local Dick's Sporting Goods had the same thing. I've never shot Independence (and couldn't find much info on it), but I thought I'd give it a try. They also had 100 round packs of AE .223 for $43, which followed me home, too.

I ordered a small packable solar battery charging kit from GoalZero along with some accessories to experiment with.
    I love Promotive.

It looks like it has the potential to be quite handy. Let us know how it works for you once you check it out.
