Yeah, not looking forward to starting from zero with a new caliber, but everything I read on the .300 gives it the edge over 5.56 in a SBR. As or right now, "Yo no habla reload." but probably have to get into reloading one day.

Ordered my first batch of .300 Blackout ammo. Got 500 rounds of plain jane American Eagle 150gr fmj to start out with just because it was cheep. Once I get my upper back (being rebarreled in .300) and get her running, and zeroed, I'll spring for some better stuff.

Ordered 500 rounds of 5.56 and 500 rounds of .380. Also picked up some extra canned food and a couple more sawyer water filters.

Met with the neighbors who live across the street and after chatting and a couple of beers I come to find out that they "believe in being prepared" and are both combat medics. Good people to have around!

I got to spend 4 straight days on the range with both M4 and M9 last week with the freedom to do variety drills and high volumes. It was a rare Army experience that ended up being very productive. Skills were improved.

Also, have added some 5.56 to the house and my gardens are thriving--the potato plants are 3-4 feet tall and all the veggies are looking great. Should shape up to be a good harvest this season.

Finalized the moving arrangements. Leaving a Socialist-Libtard-Gun-Grabbing state for a free thinking state in the desert southwest USA. Just a few more months... I cant wait.

Best possible prep anyone could ever make.

Very good point. We should be investing in people as well as preps.
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

    Thumbs up

Absolutely, brother. People are the single most important prep there is.

I can replace things; I can't replace people.
