Please don't assume I haven't given this functional evaluation. As most threads on these forums, I am looking for other people's input and opinions to either confirm mine or give me good food for thought. Which your feedback has done.

Thanks
In my limited evaluation, in the dark, I didn't focus on the fixed sight's, however, in light, they are RIGHT THERE! Anyhow, with the KAC built-in front folder, would you suggest I mount a fixed on top of the folder?

There is a lot of KAC love on this forum, and I love their products as well. However, "I" did not like the integral front sight on the URX II and the rear BUIS I had was driving me nuts as well. I ran both in a 3 day class shooting irons only and I was miserable. The front sight would unlock easily from being folded up when bumped against something, and the rear BUIS kept catching my shirt or caught in the sling and folding partially down, then when I would put it back in the up position the windage adjustment would move. It took the better part of TD1 to figure this out and it was hell for me on the 200 yard line trying to sight my rifle in, lol until I figured out what was going on.
I only run Troy BUIS now and have been VERY happy with them. For a little while I did run Troy's and just mounted the front over the integral sight on the URX rail, until I eventually sold that upper.
I'm not a door kicker, or operator, just a Joe Bloe that likes to shoot and takes a couple classes a year, this was "my" experience with these sights, if they gave me issues running around in a 3 day Carbine class, I would not want them on anything seeing serious use.
Now many people commented to me, well they're going to be BUIS so it's not a big deal, well my mentality is, when I deploy them they're my sights, not a back up, so I want what works best.
Just my $0.02, YMMV.
