I treated my kimber .45 and my new lmt cqb 16 with Froglube and it worked like a charm. No failures except a bad ar mag. Carbon seems to just melt off.I just wiped them down after and will wait till next time to re-lube.Now we only shot 130 rounds of .45 and 200 rounds of wolf .223.Also the temp was in the 90's. As for the smell well i don't really like mint but i like the smell of froglube.

I also heard good things about them from other forums.

Currently, I am using Weapon Shield CLP. I will give Frog Lube a try when I ran out of W.S.

Price wise, Weapon Shield is cheaper. You can get W.S 16 fl oz for price of F.L 8 fl oz.

Ordered from http://www.froglubeclp.com/ on Wednesday, got it on Saturday in Cheyenne WY. Not bad service for $3.50 shipping. I picked up the Duo-Kit which has ¼ oz paste, 1 oz liquid and microfiber cloth about 16" square.
I haven't tried it yet, but will tomorrow on my CMMT .22rf conversion bolt, a 16" BCM middie and maybe my Henry H001M. Possibly the M&P 9mm also. Depends on how much time I have--might rain.

Got the 4 oz bottle of Frog Lube CLP and applied it to my SR15 and BCM middy. Both carbines ran w/o a hitch last night at the range, and this stuff appears to lubricate well, in addition to maintaining it's viscosity.

After the range, I went to have dinner with a friend. She asked me why my carbines smelled like mint.

I got my FrogLube from UTVtactical..they also gave me LE discount 10% since I am former LE...just spreading the wealth for you guys if you did not know.

I use FrogLube and nothing else any more...this stuff is amazing...it cleans while it protects...I did a total breakdown on the BCG...took out the extractor...zero fouling...zero debris....indeed this is only after 200rnds...but before when I used Hoppe's my hand would be black upon disassembly...now..just a little grey surface dusting...wish I would have taken pics..but I threw away all my oils and cleaners...plus the wife is 100 times more happier cause this stuff smells actually good

Been using Sprinco's Machine Gunner's Lube, same stuff they supply to Larue. Works great, but if FG works as well, particularly when wiped dry per directions, and I avoid inhaling potentially toxic fumes (moly cannot be good for your lungs) what's not to like?
Ordered from dreaded Botach so hopefully it will show up. Hard to pass up a great price and free shipping.

    Fewer bottles is always good!
If IG, who started this thread is impressed, I'm sure I'll like FG as well.
What to do with all the Weapons Shield, Slip 2000, Butch's bore shine,
Slide Glide, MGLube... Maybe I'll donate the stuff to my local gun club.

If you want cold weather testing, give it to a duck hunter up in the northern states. IF it will work on a duck gun in cold weather in January, it will work on just about anything.
