A lot depends on the examiner. Not sure how they interpret the need for a signature as I have always signed mine (three so far) but I had a form 1 returned for correction because I put a range of barrel lengths on an SBR conversion, as advised by the vendor I bought a 10.5" upper from. Others have had forms approved by other examiners with a range of barrel lengths indicated. Oh well.
If it says "signature", I sign it and don't see any advantage to not signing it.
Getting ready to subit another Form 1 and a 4, and will sign. Not worth it to me not to sign and cause poential further delay.
