I think we can safely assume that Hillary is no fan of the piston.![]()
If you aren't armed when you take a dump in your own home then your opinion on what is a practical daily carry weapon isn't interesting to me.
I have it on good authority that Rudy is ambivalent to the whole controversy.

What mags does the 417 use?
From what I read the 417 will have a propietary mag, but early prototypes used G3 mags which would be nice.
I'm glad that HK is going to put out another EBR on the market. However I just don't see THE BIG FRIGGIN' DEAL WITH 416!. I mean c'mon' guys it's a AR with a piston. SO WHAT! Those were out 45 years ago, and are made by several other companies. Is it just me or are there others of you that just don't get it. Some people hold this 416 in such high regard that you would think it was the second coming Jesus Christ. Of course I also think that an engineer at HK could crap out a turd and some would say, oh this turd is the best weapon of war ever! And future weapons would do a piece on it, and the host would say look, it even smells when you turn it upside down! Wow! the U.S. Army needs this smelly turd by HK.
Any new gun that hits the market is good for us. But "This will bring shock waves through the industry"?? I'm not saying that I will never buy one but what I will say is, long live Colt, LMT, POF, LWRC, and great American companys.
Ok, you can beat me up now.
Never argue with an idiot. You will sink to their level, and then get beat by expierence.
I've said this elsewhere. I believe this to be a sign that mil/LE sales aren't as good as they thought they'd be.
They had no right to win. Yet they did, and in doing so they changed the course of a war...even against the greatest of odds, there is something in the human spirit - a magic blend of skill, faith and valor - that can lift men from certain defeat to incredible victory.
For CM-4. I guess the first question for you would be have you ever shot or even held a 416?? Because it seems that those of us that have are very impressed.
