Not sure about the geography of the area either, but you can find his schedule here. If there's nothing in your neck of the woods, you ought to think of trying to host him or someone else. That's the best way to get training in your area when it is lacking.
I have taken 4 handgun courses (approximately 45 hours) that covered fundamentals, strong and weak hand shooting, malfunction clearing (strong, weak, and one handed), shooting on the move, fighting from a vehicle and low light. I have also been through some handgun training with a state police agency before I was injured and had to leave their academy. The instructor I took the 4 classes from is not a well known instructor but from what I can tell everything he teaches is in line with what the more well known guys teach. I feel like I received a solid base from his classes but no longer live in the area and would like to expand my training and knowledge. When I moved here I assumed since the south is such a gun rich environment there would be more opportunities for training. It looks as though I may need to travel farther or look into finding a place to host a class. Thanks for the information men.

I just saw that Mr. Cain is within a few hours of where I am. I will look into getting a class with him. For some reason I though he was in Florida.

But be prepared to czech your ego at the door. It's a humbling school.
It's only an "arm's length" gun if you're incompetent.

James Yeager at Tactical Response put on a good class. He's in Camden, TN. Fighting pistol I and II run back to back for a four day class if you've got that much time.

I would like to attend one of his classes but do not have 5 days or $1,200 to spend on class tuition as of now. I will definitely keep him in mind for the future though. Thank you for the suggestion though.

A class from Mr. Yeager may be doable. Thank you sir.
